BHSQ is an awarding organisation/body recognised and regulated by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, Qualifications Scotland Accreditation in Scotland, Qualifications Wales (QW) and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA Regulation) in Northern Ireland.

As an awarding organisation/body we have specific responsibilities. To ensure we maintain our awarding status with the regulators and continue to be able to develop, deliver and award fit-for-purpose qualifications for the equestrian industry, we are required to maintain compliance with a range of regulations.

Our policy statements and related procedures are designed to support our continued compliance and ensure ethical practice.
